Meet Kade. He is a 19-year-old college student in the San Diego area. He contacted me to see if I would be interested in shooting with him, and I agreed to work with him right away. I'm always my most creative in working with subjects who are relatively new in front of the camera. It had been awhile since I shot on my favorite beach in Coronado, so that is where we met on a late Friday afternoon. Kade really needs to be shooting high fashion or walking the runway somewhere. His height, combined with his matinee idol looks, make for a great combination. Kade is easy and fun to work with, and willing to experiment to get a good shot. He was inquisitive when I brought along my globe to work with and it made me happy that he really wanted to put in a lot of effort to make those shots come off. We are shooting together again and I look forward to having him back in front of my camera.
